What we will do

  • Listen to you and ask plenty of questions to understand best what will help.

  • Assist you in addressing any gaps in your nutrition knowledge or provide information on nutrition-related topics you may be curious about.

  • Provide you with evidence-based and qualified advice that can improve your health and overall well-being.

  • Promote a balanced approach to your diet, lifestyle and well-being.

  • Provide you with sustainable strategies to foster improvements to your health & well-being and best support you in reaching your goals.

What we won’t do

  • Promote an all-or-nothing approach.

  • Encourage you to cut out your favourite foods.

  • Force you to follow a diet plan or create lists of approved vs non-approved foods.

  • Make judgements about your health, diet or lifestyle.

Consultaions

  • In your initial assessment, your Dietitian will take a holistic approach to gather information regarding your current health concerns, dietary habits, lifestyle, and medical history. Based on this information, your Dietitian will work with you to develop personalised nutrition goals and an action plan.

The assessment usually takes 60 minutes to complete and can include a follow-up email with recommendations.

The ultimate goal of the assessment is to empower you to make sustainable changes to your diet and lifestyle that will support your overall health and well-being.

Please bring any recent blood tests, relevant medical reports & your medicare referral from your GP if appropriate.

In-person, telehealth phone consultations are available.

  • This is where the magic happens! During the follow-up consultation, your dietitian will monitor your progress, re-evaluate your nutritional needs and expectations, explore new topics and review your goals. Follow-up appointments take 40 minutes to complete.

In-person, telehealth and phone consultations are available.

Rebates

  • You may be eligible to claim a Medicare rebate if your GP has referred you under a Chronic Disease Management Plan (CDM) or an Eating Disorder Plan (EDP).

  • Most Australian Private Health Funds give a rebate for visits to Accredited Practising Dietitians. The amount is dependent on your level of coverage. Contact your private health fund for further information about rebates.
